京都ねぎやき

Dinner in our first night in Kyoto was at a okinomiyaki restaurant on the 11th floor of Kyoto station. Graeme had waraiyaki which is the traditional type of okinomiyaki similar to what you get in Osaka  - made with batter, cabbage and various other ingredients. (Washed down wih a bowl of sake) I had negiyaki which is a Kyoto styke okinomiyaki with thin crispy batter and negi or japanese leeks instead of cabbage.
